You high school senior photos are timeless photos that capture your teenage freshness as it is poised on the brink of adulthood. Because senior photos are so meaningful and last a lifetime, seniors will want to prepare for the big day! Below are some common tips to help you prepare for the big photo day!
- Plan several outfits to bring: It doesn’t mean you have to wear them all but it will help you and the photographer work out some great color combo’s as well as help you decide on background and props. Bring a variety of different styles from casual to dressy. You will want to make sure all aspects of your personality are represented.
- Apply makeup normally: You don’t want to look like a stranger in your photographs, so apply makeup as you normally do.
- Bring Powder: You will regret that you didn’t if a shine is appearing under the lights.
- Don’t worry about blemishes: Your photographer can take out blemishes with a click of a button, so do not stress about that.
- Stay away from tanning excessively: You want to make sure not to appear orange, have peeling skin ora cherry red nose.
- Make sure your hands and feet are presentable. Hands and toes show in some of your favorite poses so make sure to take the time to make them presentable.
- Practice your facial expressions: This will help you feel comfortable and ready to put your best face forward.
- Personalize your photos with props: If you have a few favorite props such as a sports item, band item, etc you can make that apart of your photo shoot.
- Bring someone with you: This person will help you relax and take a natural picture. That person will also help you and the photographer double check details and be of general help.
- Become comfortable with the photographer: visit several photography websites for ideas on how the studio operates. Look at posed images and imagine your picture included there.
